- To get to know the other side of Islam which rarely appears in mainstream media
- To realize that Muslims are normal individuals, with likes, dislikes, concerns, and worries
- To realize that many Muslims are, in fact, very friendly!

- Personal Journals, pens or pencils

- A normal Muslim family who is not involved in either an honour crime or a terrorist act?
- A Muslim family in which women are not oppressed in one way or another?
- Muslims appearing in a TV series or movie for no reason apart from simply being other characters who lead normal lives, and who are not the center of attention because of them being Muslim?
- A Muslim doctor, lawyer, or university professor, either male or female?
- A Muslim woman who is actually happy to be wearing the hijab?
- A Muslim family celebrating Eid or having Iftar during Ramadan in a TV series or movie?
- A Muslim family where no one, including the parents, has an accent?
- A Muslim who is blond?
- How would you describe Muslim characters you see on TV or in movies? Are they flat or round? Do they evolve or develop at all, or are they static?
- Are they at least being represented as normal American citizens?
- Why are Muslims in the media always immigrants who either drive a cab, own a gas station, or work in a supermarket?
